Explosion hazard

The ability of flammable gases, vapours of flammable liquids, dust or fibres of flammable solids, under various conditions, to form a mixture with air which, under the influence of an ignition initiating factor (a spark, electric arc or overheating of the autoignition temperature), explodes i.e. undergoes violent combustion accompanied by an increase in pressure.
