Explosion Risk Assessment
ERA in practise
Our team of Engineers conducts professional risk assessments of installations at the design stage and for existing process installations, the final stage of which is the preparation of an Explosion Risk Assessment document. It identifies hazards present in the workplace related to the occurrence of flammable and explosive dusts, powders, liquids, vapors, and gases. Additionally, it specifies the steps that need to be taken to eliminate and/or reduce these threats.
Every existing or planned installation, in which flammable or explosive substances (dusts, powders, liquids, vapors, and gases) may occur, absolutely requires the creation of an Explosion Risk Assessment document.
What we offer
We prepare Explosion Risk Assessment documents for:
- Existing facilities and process installations that do not have the relevant document
- Newly constructed facilities and process installations (the preparation is carried out at the design stage, which allows for the elimination of numerous incorrect assumptions, thereby reducing the costs of corrections to the constructed installation/facility)
- Installations and facilities where changes have been made that affect the level of explosion safety (e.g., changes in technology, raw materials, the introduction of new devices, etc.)
Importantly, the Explosion Risk Assessment documents prepared by our Engineers always include the designation or verification of explosion hazard zones.
