Sampling of Loose Material

An assortment of devices enabling collection of representative samples of loose materials (powders, dusts, granulates and aggregates) is a significant element of GRUPA WOLFF’s offer. The offered sampling devices can be mounted on ducts and conveyor transfers where the product is transported gravitationally, as well as at pneumatic transport lines and on belt conveyors. The solutions provided by us are characterised by a solid workmanship, precise functioning and reliability.

1. COLLECTION OF SAMPLES FROM A CONVEYOR TRANSFER DUCT

  • Collection of representative samples of loose materials (powders, dusts, granulates, aggregates) from ducts and conveyor transfers where the product is transported gravitationally
  • Various constructions of sampling devices are adjusted for requirements of the following industries: food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic (design as per GMP standards), cement, chemical, power (conformity with the following standard: CEN/TS 14778-1:2005, ISO 13909-1:2001, ISO 13909-2:2001, ISO 1988:1975)
  • Possibility of operation in an explosion risk zone: 22, 21, 20 inside the sampling device, 22 outside the sampling device

Design in conformity with the ATEX95 directive:

  • Possibility to apply in explosion risk zones (20, 21, 22 inside the device and 22 outside the device)

Sampling biomass:

  • CEN/TS 14778-1:2005 – Solid fuels. Sampling. Methods of sampling

Taking samples of coal:

  • ISO 13909-1:2001 – Hard coal and coke – Mechanical sampling – Part 1: General introduction
  • ISO 13909-2:2001 – Hard coal and coke – Mechanical sampling – Part 2: Coal – Sampling from moving streams
  • ISO 1988:1975 – Hard coal – Sampling

Design in conformity with GMP standards

  • Selection of a proper solution
  • Execution of necessary structures (if necessary)
  • Installation, commissioning, service

2. SAMPLING FROM A BELT CONVEYOR

  • Collection of representative samples of biomass and/or coal directly from a belt conveyor
  • Collection of biomass samples for settlements between (Heat and) Power Stations and the ERO (Energy Regulatory Office) – settlement of renewable energy
  • Collection of biomass samples for settlements between (Heat and) Power Stations and biomass/coal

Design in conformity with the ATEX95 directive:

  • Possibility to apply in explosion risk zones (20, 21, 22 inside the device and 22 outside the device)

Sampling biomass:

  • CEN/TS 14778-1:2005 – Solid fuels. Sampling. Methods of sampling

Taking samples of coal:

  • ISO 13909-1:2001 – Hard coal and coke – Mechanical sampling – Part 1: General introduction
  • ISO 13909-2:2001 – Hard coal and coke – Mechanical sampling – Part 2: Coal – Sampling from moving streams
  • ISO 1988:1975 – Hard coal – Sampling
  • Selection of a proper solution
  • Execution of necessary structures (if necessary)
  • Installation, commissioning, service

3. COLLECTION OF SAMPLES FROM A PNEUMATIC TRANSPORT LINE

  • Selection of a proper solution
  • Installing, commissioning, service

Design in conformity with the ATEX95 directive:

  • Possibility to apply in explosion risk zones (20, 21, 22 inside and outside the device)
  • Design and selection with an accompanying system
  • Tests at a laboratory
  • Installation, commissioning, service
  • Turnkey
