Screening Machines

We deliver vibrating screens, screening conveyor troughs, air separators and on-line granulation measuring devices. Our services include both selection of equipment (which can be effected on the basis of tests with the actual product), as well as its installation, commissioning and service.

The equipment offered operates in tens of production plants and among our customers, there are food industry companies, chemical plants, manufacturers of construction chemical products and aggregates.

1. VIBRATION SCREENS FOR FINE-GRAINED LOOSE PRODUCTS WITH DIRECTLY ACTIVATED STRAINERS

In screens with directly activated strainers, only strainer layers are set in vibrations. The screen structure itself is immovable and it does not transfer dynamic loads to the room structure. The strainer are activated by beaters driven by electromagnets or unbalanced motors mounted outside the screen. The screens are suitable for dry and wet products with a tendency to stopping strainer in the range of 0.05 – 15 mm.

2. MULTILAYER VIBRATION SCREEN FOR FINE-GRAINED LOOSE PRODUCTS

Multilayer screen for a very thorough screening of many fractions (even as many as 24). Subsequent layers of strainers are laid one on another in the screen. The screen is driven by two unbalanced screens mounted outside the screen.

A single screening layer consists of a frame with two meshes. The upper mesh is the actual strainer. The lower one is a support for rubber balls cleaning the strainer.

The layers are independent structures, thereby the screen can be easily reconstructed (the possibility to add or take away layers).

MDS screen

3. VIBRATION SCREENS FOR MEDIUM- AND COARSE-GRAINED

In the screen, two unbalanced motors with different vibration characteristics have been applied. The motor mounted on the inlet side sets the upper part of the screening layer into vibrations with a high amplitude and a low frequency. This results in a break up of aggregations and an initial segregation of the product. The lower part of the screening layer is set in vibrations by the other motor mounted on the outlet side. The vibrations caused by that motor have a low amplitude and a high frequency. In this part of the screen, a thorough screening of the product takes place.

The screens are suitable for dry products in the range of 0.65 – 55 mm.

DF screen

  • Only screening layers are set into vibrations. The screen structure itself is immovable and it does not transfer dynamic loads.

DFM screen

  • The whole screen is set into vibrations. Compact design.

4. SCREENING CONVEYOR TROUGHS

Screen with a simultaneous segregation of product and an option to dose the product with a vibration conveyor. The screen is driven by an unbalanced motor mounted outside the machine. This solution is frequently used as a dehydrating screen. The screen has a simple, compact design, which makes it particularly easy to operate.

The screens are suitable for dry products in the range of 12 – 115 mm.

5. WET SCREENING AND DEWATERING VIBRATING SCREENS

In screens for wet screening, the product is fed to the strainer together with liquid (most frequently: water). The material is washed at the inlet side of the strainer and dewatered at the outlet side. Screens can be equipped with additional washing troughs to ensure a more thorough washing and watering of the product on the whole length of the screen.

DNF screen

  • Wet screening of products in the range of 0.03- 65 mm. Driven by two unbalanced motors as in the DF screen.

UG screen

  • Wet screening and dewatering of products in the range of 0.03- 65 mm. The drive effected through two unbalanced masses driven by a motor with a cardan shaft.

ES dehydrating screen

  • Dehydrating coarse-grained products. Driven by two unbalanced motors. Simple compact design.

6. AIR SEPARATOR

Air separators are intended for a thorough separation of very fine loose materials. The principle of operation of such type machines is similar to cyclone operation. There is an additional mechanism inside the air separator which enables separation of the product into two fractions. Its main element is a special rotating drum with paddles forming properly sized slots. Larger particles are thrown outside by the centrifugal force and gravitation, then fall towards the machine outlet. Smaller particles are sucked through the slots inside the drum, carried away in an air stream to a cyclone system (separation of the solid phase from the gaseous one).

The screens are suitable for loose products with grain size distribution at the machine inlet in the range of up to 4mm and the distribution point in the range of 2 to 200 µm.

AWR air separator

ABX air separator

  • Air separator with a classification wheel with a special design reducing the wearing out of separator walls.

7. ON-LINE GRANULATION MEASUREMENT

A machine intended for quality analysis and control of loose in respect of the size and shape of grains (e.g. after a granulation or drying process). The analysis is carried out in the real time and its results may be applied for optimisation of the process conducted (e.g. granulation, screenings or drying).

A vibrating feeder feeds a single layer of product to the machine. The particles falling freely down are registered by high-class line cameras, then analysed in respect of shape and size. The data so received are automatically written in the database.

8. OPTICAL SEPARATORS

An optical separator segregates loose products on the basis of the material colour. A line camera analyses the colour of each particle falling from a vibrating feeder and compares it with standard data. When the material colour deviates from the set one, the material particle is thrown out outside the main material stream.

9. LABORATORY AIR SCREEN

Laboratory air screen for a grain-size analysis of fine materials.

The screening in the device is forced out by the stream of air supplied by a rotating nozzle installed under the strainer. The screens are suitable for loose products with the grain size in the range of 0.02 to 2 mm.
