Recently, the WOLFF GROUP has supplied 28 decompression panels to one of the largest furniture manufacturing plants in Poland.
Decompression panels are a simple, yet reliable system of protection against the effects of explosions. They are intended for use primarily in open spaces. At the moment of the explosion, they burst and vent the effects of the explosion to the environment. In case of selecting this protection system, a special hazard zone is to be determined around the panels, sometimes reaching a few dozen meters.
The applied solution was VL type panels with the dimensions of 586 x 920 mm, made of stainless steel. They are intended for the modernisation and extension of the production complex. The panels will be installed on dust silos and on filters.
