In late March and early April, after a long downtime caused by a breakdown, our Service Department worked on refurbishing the biomass collection, storage and transport plant in one of the leading heat and power plants.
The project included overhaul, repair and calibration as well as re-startup of such machines as:
- chamber dispensers operating as explosion decoupling;
- magnetic separators;
- central vacuuming systems;
- central dust extraction systems;
- systems for minimising biomass dust explosion effects (suppression and decoupling).
The works allow them to start the plant in terms of technology and maintenance, and, in addition, they enable satisfaction of formal and legal requirements which the user of a plant with an uncontrolled explosion hazard must meet
