LTT2 and LTT4 optical/sound signalling devices for Ex zones
The LTT2 or LTT4 optical/sound signalling devices provide comfort and a sense of security for workers in spaces within which SmArtGas 4, ProGas 4 or ReAct 4 detectors are used. Due to their ATEX certification, they can be used in hazardous areas.
Unique features
Signalling capability: up to 2 alarm thresholds (LTT2) or up to 4 alarm thresholds (LTT4)
Independently configurable and controllable light modules with very bright LEDs
Unique R-G-OFF signalling for supported detectors, which allows an immediate assessment of the safety level
The device comes in two versions, LTT4 and LTT2. A distinctive feature of LTT beacons is the use of independently configurable and controllable light modules with very bright LEDs and 1 sound module. The device designed in this way is a reliable, readable and suitably detailed source of information about the dangers in a given area.
The LTT can be used in areas with the most demanding and aggressive environmental conditions due to its stainless steel body (AISI-304) and IP 65 protection rating.
The device can be used in zone two of the explosion risk zone.
Extremely simple danger indication
The LTT2 and LTT4 optical/sound signalling devices enable the signalling of emergency conditions according to the proprietary R-G-OFF (GAS-OK) operating logic. It is a safety system that allows the efficiency of the system and the level of safety to be assessed at any time. The R-G-OFF system has been designed on the basis of easy-to-recognise light signals. The guiding principle is that any light message other than the green light obliges staff to respond immediately. It provides comfort and a sense of security for staff by being able to assess the emergency at any time.
Why choose the LTT2 or LTT4 indicator?
- GASOK function to indicate correct operation of the system in green
- Connection line monitoring
- Information on the correct operation of master units
- Signalling two or four alarm thresholds
- FLASH module for increased security
- Up to 4 different, independently controllable lighting colours (continuous light). Available colours: green, red, white, yellow, blue.
- Can be connected and controlled using voltage outputs or RS-485 bus (Modbus RTU and SigmaBUS protocol).
- The LTT signalling device can be used as a System Optic Signalling device (SSO).
- The product is designed to be installer-friendly – fault-tolerant in the connection of signal lines.

The FLASH module is an innovative solution based on High Power LEDs. FLASH signalling devices provide a much higher level of information about a potential hazard due to the flashes they generate, causing light reflections on process plant components. This attracts the attention of staff and members of the public who are in the area of influence of the device.
