Wired heater thermostat control | ATEX gas / dust zones | FXT type
The FXT thermostat is ATEX-certified for operation in Ex-zones as a smart and energy-saving temperature management solution for heaters rated up to 2 kW. The setpoint of the product can be customized on order. The FXT thermostats are designed as accessories for range of cabinet and enclosure heaters, although they can work in other applications.
The FXT thermostats are ATEX-certified for operation in Ex-zones (classified as Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22). The primary application is to maintain the set temperature inside heated enclosures and cabinets. However, they can work in other applications. The products are installed with clamps or directly on standard mounting rails.
The FXT thermostats are available in different versions, including:
- For high temperature applications up to 195°C
- For low and moderate power heaters
- For heating elements in heaters up to 2 kW
- Space-saving for installation in confined spaces
- For terminal or straight-through installation
- In enclosures of anodized aluminium or heavy-duty plastic (this version is fully sealed)
- ATEX-certified for installation in explosive gas or dust atmospheres (Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22)
- Installation: wall-mounted or on a standard mounting rail
- Power supply: 110-120V / 220-240V / 254-277V
- Casing material(s): aluminium / plastic
- Ingress protection: IP66
- Ambient temperature: -60˚C to +195˚C
- Wired with a 3 m cable (or optionally longer up to 10 m)

The FXE thermostats are ATEX-certified for operation in Ex-zones (classified as explosive gas Zone 1 and 2 and explosive dust Zone 21 and 22). The products are primarily used to control the internal temperature of electrically heated cabinets, switchgear panels or other electrical equipment enclosures (although other applications are possible). The thermostats are compatible with Wolff’s cabinet and enclosure heaters in the FX, FXE and FXS series.
