Flameproof transmitter enclosure | ATEX gas / dust zones | HIH type
The HIH flameproof enclosure is designed to fit in most standard transmitter / transducer types. This product is compatible with WIKA® brand transmitters, but it can also be customized for compatibility with transmitters from Siemens®, Rosemount® or Yokogawa®. The transmitter enclosure is ATEX-certified for operation in explosive gas atmospheres (classified as Zone 1 and 2) and explosive dust atmospheres (Zone 21 and 22).

The HIH flameproof stainless steel enclosure is intended to house transmitters / transducers from various vendors. The enclosure can safely accommodate transmitters for operation in explosive gas and dust atmospheres (Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22).
The standard enclosure version is provided with two 20 mm cable glands. Optionally, the number of cable glands can be increased to four on request. For transmitters with interface displays, an enclosure version with a sight glass is available. The enclosure is designed for long, heavy-duty operation (with a rating of IP66) and at temperatures from -50°C to +60°C. This series of products provides a safe enclosure for measurement electronics.
