Within the framework of activities aiming at providing stable and safe operation of industrial plants at risk of explosion, we invite you to participate in the International INDEX Conference that will be held on 6 and 7 October 2016 in Cracow. The event will be devoted to explosion and process safety in chemical, petrochemical and offshore industry, and the like.
For whom?
This year’s event is directed to representatives of industrial plants, design offices, insurance companies, as well as institutions and organisations operating in the following sectors:
- chemical and petrochemical industry,
- offshore industry,
- gas industry,
- energy industry,
- paint and varnish manufacture,
- related to the above.
Scope of the Conference
The topics discussed during this year’s conference will be related to explosion, process and functional safety, especially to protection against dangers caused by products commonly used in industry.
During the two-day event, the participants will have the opportunity to listen to carefully selected lectures given by experts from Poland and Europe. The conference will be held in two languages, Polish and English, and all speeches, comments and questions will be interpreted by qualified simultaneous interpreters. The covered issues will allow the participants to extend their knowledge of explosion, process and functional safety.

Additionally, a spectacular explosion display is planned as part of the event, together with presentation of efficacy of commonly used protections systems. This way, the conference participants will have the chance to see the results of dangers that industrial plants face every day. Displays organised as part of the event will make people aware of the huge power hidden in seemingly harmless substances.
