Explosion isolation flap valves are a simple, economical and very effective solution for cutting off the area where the explosion occurred from the rest of the installation by immediately closing the pipeline. The explosion isolation non-return valve thus blocks the possibility of further propagation of the explosion to the rest of the installation.
During normal operation, the flowing air opens the explosion isolation flap. At the moment of explosion, the pressure wave closes the flap, so that the explosion does not spread to the rest of the installation.
