Visual alarms EX ATEX
The universal visual alarms have been designed such as to enable their operation on land and at sea. They fulfil the basic requirements of the ATEX Directive (94/9/EC) and have been approved for use in zones 1 and 2, as well as 21 and 22 explosion hazard zones (depending on the version).
The visual alarm casing is made of stainless steel or glass reinforced polyester, for areas where corrosion proof and lightweight devices are needed. The visual alarms are also available in LED versions ensuring long lifetime without the need to replace the light source. For the purpose of ensuring comprehensive corrosion resistance the device is complete with bolts and mounting brackets made of stainless steel. The device may be painted to customer specification or supplied with identification labels.
