Ambient thermostat control | ATEX gas / dust zones | HFT type
The HFT thermostat features an Ex-proof enclosure. It can be applied in potentially explosive atmospheres classified as Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22. The HFT thermostat is designed for ambient temperature management in indoor workplaces and storage areas. It is most often used with electric heaters, including fan heaters.
With a stainless-steel IP66 / NEMA 4X enclosure, the HFT thermostat is designed for heavy-duty applications in explosive gas, liquid vapour and dust atmospheres (the product is ATEX-certified for Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22). The product can operate with one of the available temperature ranges: 0˚C to 25˚C, 0˚C to 40˚C or 0˚C to 60˚C. The designed ambient temperature of operation ranges from -60˚C to +60˚C.
The product comes with two M20 cable glands and internal and external earthing connections. The thermostat can be wall mounted with two 6 mm bolts or screws.

The HFT thermostat is wired to space and medium heaters certified for operation in Ex-zones. The product can be used in Zone 1 and 2 (explosive gas atmosphere) and Zone 21 and 22 (explosive dust atmosphere).
