The WOLFF GROUP designs and supplies the explosion protection system for two lines of crushers of a newly constructed power unit in Tychy. This is yet another project within the same investment, after the dust extraction and central vacuum systems.
The explosion protection of the crushing station will be provided with explosion suppression and isolation systems type HRD (High Rate Discharge). What is important, the system components will be certified for ATEX (equipment for use in explosion hazard zones and as protection systems) and SIL (Safety Integrity Level) compliance, testifying to their effectiveness.
