Experts of the ATEX company, belonging to WOLFF GROUP, conducted Explosion Risk Assessment for the technological line on which baby diapers are produced.
The ordering party tested three selected samples of dust taken from different areas of the technological line. For each test, explosion parameters were determined. This means that all the dust (mainly cellulose dust) in a mixture with air can form an explosive atmosphere.
In the next step, classification of the hazardous areas together with the division into zones was determined. On the basis of the assessment, the authors issued appropriate recommendations in order to improve explosion safety in the area of the analysed system.
