As part of cooperation with an international company, the WOLFF GROUP supplied safety switches for installation in a biscuit production plant. The switches are compliant with the essential requirements of the ATEX directive and are approved for use in explosion hazard areas – Zones 1, 2 as well as 21 and 22. The supplied safety switches are intended for operation with the current intensity of 20 A. The enclosure is made of resistant glass fibre-reinforced polyester which guarantees the high protection rating of IP66. The switches will be used for stopping the operation of equipment in case of emergency – to maintain work safety.
