For one of the Lower Silesian water and sewage companies, the WOLFF GROUP provided an explosion safety audit of the sewage sludge drying, transport and storage divisions.
The 4 parallel sewage sludge drying lines included the following process nodes: drying, transport and silo storage, feeding dry sewage sludge powder to trucks (haulage out). Dry sewage sludge produced in the process are combustible, explosive substances. Before commencing the implementation of the task, the substances posing explosion risk were subject to examination of their explosiveness characteristics.
