Recently, a 1300 m2 production and warehousing facility has been built and commissioned on the lot belonging to GRUPA WOLFF. It is a building which will be utilized by HARDO – a new brand in the market of lighting and other electrical equipment for hazardous areas; to be precise, the first and only 100% Polish owned company manufacturing lighting and other electrical equipment for Ex markets.

While talking about the origins of the company, Donat Czapski of HARDO highlighted the importance of practical experience related to such products – “During the last 20 years I have spent long hours talking to specifiers, installers, and end users which influenced my decision about founding HARDO brand. All our products are ATEX and IECEx certified, What is essential, our products were designed based on direct input from installers who are the last link in the installation process in various facilities.”

Ex Lighting fixtures

Very soon HARDO will supply the Ex market with a linear LED fixture with quick interchangeable lenses providing different patterns for light distribution by the same fixture.

Ex Cable glands

HARDO cable glands are used whenever a secure cable entry into machinery and equipment is required. Cable glands are used on all types of armoured and non-armoured power, control, instrumentation, data, and communication cables.

Ex Terminal boxes

HARDO terminal boxes are certified for use in Zones 1/21 and 2/22. Each terminal box is equipped with cable glands, connecting terminals, and other components according to customers’ requirements (even if the end-user asks for third-party components in order to maintain a uniform design with equipment already installed). Terminal boxes can be made of aluminium, stainless steel, or glass fibre-reinforced polyester (GRP).

Ex Control stations

HARDO control stations are designed to meet the most stringent norms and regulations related to equipment for hazardous areas (providing among others: high IP and IK ratings as well as high UV and corrosion resistance). Solid and thick walls of the enclosures allow for more reliable and secure installation of cable glands and other components.
