For a company specializing in PET production, WOLFF GROUP has delivered process bursting discs. These discs are of an inverted shape type BT-KUB DN 25 and DN 40. They are made of stainless steel and thus characterized by high mechanical strength. Both types of discs are in the concave version. The protective layer protects the process side of the plate against corrosion. Their relief surface is 5.5 cm2 and 13 cm2 respectively. The response pressure is 9.0 bar g (at 22ºC).
These are spare parts for the ones currently used by the heating plant, protecting them against excess pressure in the event of overheating of the heating medium, that is oil.
BT-KUB bursting discs are also used in pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industry.
