Heat detector EX ATEX

The MEDC-Hawco heat detector has been designed for use in explosion hazard zones. The detectors are fit for use in fire safety systems (alarm and prevention ones) both on land and at sea and to be installed in painting booths, flammable materials warehouses, turbine chambers, ducts, and other hazard areas in the oil-and-gas, petrochemical and processing industries.

Description

The detector comprises a balanced sensor by Fenwal, with stainless steel external structure, placed in a stainless alloy casing in the SM87 model (Ex d version) or antistatic glass reinforced polyester casing in the IB10 model (Ex ia or Ex em versions). The contacts of the detector short circuit during the temperature alarm.
