The decision to implement the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System was made several years ago. We passed the first certification according to the latest standard at the beginning of 2017. Recertification confirms the continuous compliance, effectiveness and constant usefulness of the management system. As last year, thanks to the commitment of the entire team, the ISO implementation has been maintained at a high level – we are very proud of that.
What is ISO?
ISO is the official name of the International Organization for Standardization, which sets standards in all areas of our daily lives. In our case we are talking about the standard PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems – Requirements, which defines the requirements to be met by a quality management system in an organization. Importantly, they are general and intended for use by all organisations, regardless of their type, size or the goods and services provided.
Positive course of the ISO audit in the WOLFF GROUP
The requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are divided into 10 chapters that cover practically every key area of the organization. In our case, the Quality Management System covered trade, design, production of steel structures and equipment, assembly, service, consulting and specialist training.
On the basis of the audit, for which our team had been preparing for many weeks, it was confirmed that all the requirements of the ISO standard were met.
Why do we need ISO implementation?
The entire team of the WOLFF GROUP have been working hard for the last 25 years. Since the beginning of the company’s existence, we have intended to build a Polish technology company that will provide comprehensive services in a narrow and at the same time specialized field, i.e. process and explosive safety. Today, our offer is much wider and includes also design work, fire protection, process fittings, industrial electrical engineering, technological equipment, as well as service and assembly.
From the very beginning of our activity we have focused on offering innovative technological solutions that are indispensable for the industry. We were the first in Poland to start supplying explosion damping and decoupling systems. In the 1990s, when the ATEX Directive, the document that sets standards for explosion safety in today’s industry, did not yet exist, there was practically no demand for such solutions in Poland. So, we made a bold decision that pays off today. Thanks to this decision, we are the only company in Poland that has integrated preventive measures into one comprehensive system, the so-called Dedicated Explosion Safety System, related to the protection of technological installations against the effects of an uncontrolled explosion. In the last few years, we made an important step by opening a design office – which today specializes in the design of installations and technological facilities for all the most important branches of industry – and by commencing our production.
The many-years’ experience of the company’s team of engineers and our unique know-how – these are the assets which allow us to successfully implement projects in a turnkey system and accept technologically challenging orders.
Meeting of the ISO 9001:2015 requirements and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System compliant with the standards are some of the assumptions underlying our Quality Policy. Our mission is to provide innovative and safe technologies, installations and equipment for the broadly understood industry. The ISO certificate not only confirms the high quality of these services but is also a token of the reliability and professionalism of our company as a dependable business partner.
